Hi, I’m Andreas. While my professional background lies in software development, my real adventures happen far away from screens and code. My true passion is wildlife photography; over the course of numerous journeys, I’ve had the privilege of documenting animals in their natural habitats and capturing the breathtaking landscapes that surround them. This website is my digital gallery, a place where I share the most striking moments I’ve witnessed through my lens.
My Philosophy
I’m not a professional photographer in the commercial sense, and I prefer it that way. For me, photography is about the experience and the connection to nature. I believe in patience, respect for the animals, and capturing the „authentic“ shot. There’s nothing quite like the adrenaline of spotting a grizzly in the brush or the silence of a desert sunrise.
The Gear Behind the Shots
As a software developer, I have a natural appreciation for high-performance technology. To ensure I never miss a moment—whether it’s a fast-moving predator or a sweeping landscape, I rely on a professional-grade kit:
Cameras: Canon EOS R5 & Canon EOS R5 Mark II
Lenses: Canon RF 100-500mm, RF 200-800mm, RF 24-70mm f/2.8
Aerial & Action: I also use a DJI Mavic Pro for unique perspectives from above and a GoPro for those rugged, on-the-move moments.
